The accompaniment is nearly the same as the <a href=\"http:\/\/davefackrell.com\/musicdev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Nearer_My_God_to_Thee-revised.pdf\">choir version<\/a>, but I did a little more experimentation on the melody for the vocal line. I generally don&#8217;t stray much from the original melody of a song in an effort to keep the spirit of it, but I think these variations still keep the reverence and spirit of the original hymn melody.
