If the Way be Full of Trial, Weary Not!

I first heard this song when the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang it in general conference some time back. They sang it again at the funeral for President Monson, and it was then that I knew I had to do an arrangement of it. I had to do some digging to find the hymn, and I finally found it in a book of church songs from 1918 called “Songs of Zion.” “If the Way be Full of Trial, Weary Not!” can be found in the Choir Arrangements section.

That Sacred Night – An Original Christmas Hymn

This is a first for me. “That Sacred Night” is an original Christmas hymn written and composed by myself. The words and meter started coming to me on an evening during the 2017 Christmas season. Once I had the text, I sat at my piano and worked out a melody that seemed to fit, then I fleshed out the harmony over the next few days. It can be found in the Choir Arrangements section. Enjoy.
