Music Composition Software

You may be curious about what software I use for my arrangements. I’ve never had the budget for expensive programs like Sibelius or Finale, so I started out with an inexpensive program called Noteworthy Composer. It fit my needs, mostly, but lacked a few features that made it difficult for more complicated arrangements. A couple of years ago I found a free program called MuseScore. It had all the features that I needed, and it was free. Did I mention that it’s free? Go to http://musescore.org to check it out. I do all of my arrangements now in MuseScore.
