I just uploaded 4 new songs to the Ward Choir Bits section. They are straight from the LDS hymn book with some performance instructions and special endings. They make for a great quick arrangement when time is at a premium. Enjoy!

I have just posted a revised version of the Easter Medley. Someone pointed out to me that the accompaniment for the baritone solo section was difficult to play as written. I decided that I had better have some compassion on the choir accompanists out there, so I have cleaned it up and posted the revised version in Choir Arrangements.

I have just uploaded an arrangement of Nearer, Dear Savior, to Thee. I completed the arrangement earlier in the week, and I plan to have my ward choir sing it later this year. Sheet music and mp3 can be found in the Choir Arrangements. Enjoy.

Here is a new arrangement of I Wonder as I Wander that I worked on over the Christmas season. It’s a vocal solo with piano accompaniment. Look for it in Solo Arrangements.

Here is a new arrangement of Redeemer of Israel. I threw it together for my ward choir in the summer. The Easter Medley is an arrangement of Behold the Great Redeemer Die and He is Risen based on the medley in Ward Choir Bits. You can find them both in Choir Arrangements.

I did this arrangement of Silent Night last year, and thought I had better post it in time for Christmas this year. I know, everyone does an arrangement of this song, but I did one anyway. It’s SATB with a soprano descant on the third verse. You can find it in the Choir Arrangements.

I just completed arrangements of Amazing Grace and Jesus, Lover of My Soul. Sheet music and mp3’s are in the Choir Arrangements section. Amazing Grace has parts for solo voice, violin, SATB and piano accompaniment. Jesus. Lover of My Soul is very similar to the LDS Hymnbook arrangement with some modifications to the triplets and ending.

You may be curious about what software I use for my arrangements. I’ve never had the budget for expensive programs like Sibelius or Finale, so I started out with an inexpensive program called Noteworthy Composer. It fit my needs, mostly, but lacked a few features that made it difficult for more complicated arrangements. A couple of years ago I found a free program called MuseScore.
